How I Work

Training Technique

I, in my training, am using LIMA methods (least intrusive, minimally aversive), which basically means, I will never use tools or training techniques that would scare or hurt a dog or cause them pain or discomfort. I’m applying scientifically gained knowledge of canine behavior and modern training methods (Positive reinforcement) to set new behaviors or change undesirable old ones without the danger of side effects as fear, aggression or shutting down.

I take into account that each dog has different history, learning ability, personality and energy level and am creating individual training plans accordingly, to fit yours and your furry friend’s needs.

Services

PRIVATE LESSONS – Train you to train your dog

I will come over to your place and show you how to train your dog. I will give you all necessary information, tips and feedback to ensure you are ready to start with the training. Then the exciting part begins! The lessons are usually scheduled a week apart, to give you enough time to work with your dog. On each follow up lesson we’ll summarize your achievements and discuss the next steps.

DAY TRAINING

I will come over to your place and train your dog. This service requires several sessions and the number of sessions depends on the problem we’re dealing with. During and after the training, I’ll be providing you with all of the necessary information, tips and feedback to ensure you know how to maintain and manage the behavior – you’re after all the one who spends the majority of the time with your pup. The lessons are usually scheduled daily, to keep the training going smoothly and on a good pace. Usually after each third lesson we’ll summarize our progress and discuss the next steps.

Would you be interested in group lessons?

Group lessons are fun, a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and work on your dog’s socialization along with the obedience cues. I would very much enjoy to start group classes, however, I’m unsure whether there’s enough interest in them. Please let me know if you’re interested joining one by filling up the form below! I’ll be more than happy to start one right away 🙂

Let me guide you throughout the first months of your puppy’s life. I can help you with establishing all the essentials necessary for building your relationship with your new puppy and creating structure. I will lead you through socialization, housebreaking, crate training, impulse control, body handling and will start on building good manners.
Positive reward-based training strengthens your bond and improves the relationship with your dog. It also provides much needed mental stimulation and helps your dog to learn how to deal with frustration. Teaching your dog the simple cues of sit, stay, down, leave it, place, no, name recognition, and come will benefit you both in the long run. It is a wonderfully fun way to work towards preventing behavioral issues!
Does your furry friend bolt through the door once opened? Maybe he jumps on you or your visitors? Does he steal food from your plate or does he have an accident every time you come back home from work? Let me help you! I will analyze your dog’s issue, find its cause and find a way to deal with the problem.
